Question Are any of you girls interested in a weight loss/healthy eating thread?

Well, I have just ploughed through a big chunk of roast almond chocolate and I just KNOW that this has to stop. If I keep eating like this I will put on all of the weight I lost during Sophie's pregnancy.
So is anyone interested in a healthy eating/weight loss/exercise thread? It can be whatever it needs to be for each person eg. for me it would be about being accountable and weighing weekly and support for healthy eating etc. For someone who doesn't need to lose weight it may be just about being more healthy....I think if there's a group of us we can be more accountable.

Anyone up for it? I'll start a new thread if I have any takers!!

Yes please Amy. I need encouragement to keep going even though I'm eating pretty well and live fairly actively... and seem to be getting nowhere! Just to be able to talk to other people really helps keep my momentum.

And I've just had some roast cashew chocolate! But I'm ok with that, coz beating myself up about it makes me just go back for more!

Hugs
Kath

I'm in. My goal is healthy eating and maintaining my weight. This is good timing as my weight has started to creep up again and I don't want to gain all that I lost too. I've been *pretty* good lately, although I'm still sweet craving... I've switched to the Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate and have put the limit of one square (they're big squares) per day (which is usually broken at PMS time) and I'm usually happy enough with that. For me I have to avoid gluten and dairy and although I definitely have the gluten thing sussed I'm still a little dodgy on the dairy, which is a bit of a worry because one dose means I don't absorb iron for three months afterwards... My other thing is making sure my carbs are low enough that I don't kick my carb cravings into gear. If I have too much rice or GF pasta I just want to eat and eat and seem to have nothing telling me when I'm full, so I need to avoid that to avoid a HUGE gut ache! For exercise I know it's not going to happen, so as much as is possible I do little things to increase my exercise (i.e. park a block away from the shops, so I have to walk further, going up stairs instead of a lift etc etc).

Good luck to everyone on their individual quests!!

LOL... I've just had a pretty bad eating week!! Maybe this is just what I need. Normally I can keep myself pretty accountable and motivated, but this past week... has been tough... has had some 'slip-ups'... has left me feeling upset about myself... So thanks, this will be good.

Love,
Michelle

Yep, I'm in. Accountability is where I want to start... If I can get some of the naughty stuff under control maybe wieght loss will follow??? I'm too embarressed to even tell you guys how much bad food I eat! (and how much good food goes rotten in the bottom of my fridge...)

I'm gonna have to start tomorrow, cause I have a massive big chocolate cake sitting on my kitchen bench at the moment, waiting to entertain a visitor, but I promise I'll try and feed most of it to her!!! LOL!!

hi
Count me in please. I need a bit of encouragement to stay on the right track but im sure with alot of support i will get there and lose some weight. My biggest weakness is at work when i go on my break just before shop closes and am very tempted with chips, chocolate and biscuits. i need to stop doing this so will do so as of Monday

Rebecca
