Does anybody else feel 'funny' like there head is in the clouds. I get really bad dizzy spells especially just before I am due on my period and quite bad headaches aswell. Feel really tired and worn out alot of the time!
I was currently on Met 500mg but have come off them as I thought it was the tablets but it doesnt look like it is!
Any replies would be very much appreciated....feel very down at the moment!

I'm not sure.
But have you had your blood tested for anemia?
or diabetes, insulin resistance, or hypoglycemia?
They all can cause dizziness.

I feel like that when I get low blood sugar. Drinking something with sugar in it makes it go away pretty fast.
Many women with PCOS experience "brain fog." It is my understanding that met helps it, not causes it.
If you're feeling bad a lot then don't be afraid to get a second opinion, especially if it is affecting your job. One doctor may think your insulin or thyroid is fine but another will say it's off the charts....the best gauge is how you feel, so keep knocking on doors until you find the cause. You know better than anyone when something is wrong with your body.
Good luck!

Brain fog is a definite way of describing it! Im back at the docs tomorrow so will see if I can go back on the Metformin. It would be nice to just wake up one morning and feel 'normal'

I thought most Cysters started on 1000 to 1500 mg of Met.
I dont know about most women, but I started at 500 and increased to 2000 over a few months.

I get lightheaded before AF. So does my mom. If you are dizzy in a way that the room is spinning or you feel like you are moving when you are not, it could be vertigo. I had that, sometimes I still might get a spell, but not very often. When It was bad my dr gave me an antihistamine to help it. I also find that drinking more water helped me, as did exercise, but I am abnormal...LOL. I would get a second opinion.
