ok.... so this might sound really really weird.... please don't take this message wrongly.
with our first ds, it took us about 18 months to conceive. Finally, i had a gyn FINALLY give me clomid... well i wasn't really excited about it, but oh well... 3 months later, got preggy
This time, i went to a new gyn(we have moved since ttc before).... this is the same gyn, that ran tests on me on unspecific days of the month, then told me he doesn't think i have pcos... when we told him we were ttc, he put me on bcps(? really didn't make too much sense to me)
so after 2 months of being on bcp's and ttc for 15 months, we went back trying to get a referral for a fertility specialist, and i explained that we are pretty sure that it is me having the issues with ttc, because every time i DO actually O we get preggo. The doc refused our request, stating that the fertility specialists here don't particularly like to see patients that are under 30... he said that the criteria for the fertility specialists say that patients over 30 with no children are higher priority then those with children, under 30...
so dh and i kinda experimented... i took my bcp's for 2 months straight, then on the 3rd month, i took pills 1-7... after that i took pills 8-16, but only every other day... trying to 'push' my body to become pregnant. after pill 16 i stopped taking the pills and waited... after 20 dpo, i started doing the same thing(pills 1-7 ...then pills 8-16 every other day)... i didn't know i was pregnant, and the doc order an u/s, to check for cysts.... that's how we found out we were pregnant
