Im experiencing motions of dull aching cramps in my extreme lower abdomen, more or less around my uterus but i cant be sure ...it feels periody painy! Has anyone heard of cramping while on bcp? im a week into my 2nd pack,I started yasmin last cycle and when i finished the first pack, i decided not to take a break and took the next pack straight away so i dont know if this has anything to do with the cramps. (im doubting it does, i dont have much prob with Af, it comes every 3 weeks (bit too regular) when im not on bcps so i wasnt worried about endometrium problems)

Anyone any ideas,

Hi,

It may be down to the fact that you started your 2nd pack so early. Your uterus needs to get used to the new hormones you're taking. But, I am on my 3rd pack of Yasmin, and I have had lots of awful cramps, which i didn't experience on other pills (except Dianette a few years ago) along with my entire pelvic area hurting most of the time. So, i am trying to see my gynae very soon, as it just doesn't seem right to me. I have been considering bi-cycling my pill after the 3rd month as i get so ill during AF time, and that on top of being ill during the other weeks is pretty depessing...so we'll see...

The cramps were like contractions yesterday, i just felt i needed to stop the bcp and let AF come. So i decided i wouldnt take yesterdays pill and I put some emmenogogue essential oils over my uterus to bring on the AF and it showed up 2 hours later, no more cramps. I just needed to have AF. Feels like a relief. I will restart bcp in a week. I know that this is kinda messing about but my body was telling me what i needed to do!
