Since I cant afford Yasmin right now my GYN is suggesting Lo/Ovral. I cant find much information when I google it so wondering if anybody on here has been on it/is on it? Likes, Dislikes, etc?

Everyone's reaction is different. I don't remember loving Lo-Ovral, but it was better than Yasmin for me because EVERYTHING was better than Yasmin, which made me suicidal. I think Lo-Ovral may have been the one that made me feel like I was living underwater. So don't be afraid to give it a shot, but if you're like me, it will take a few months for your body to get used to any new pill, and you won't know what the long-term effects are until then.

Hey! Sorry I'm a little late for this post but i wanted to respond because i've been lo ovral for 4 months. My biggest dislikes are: head aches and migranes weekly, anxiety, and feeling out of my body (makes me feel like i am crazy!). SO!, as you can see, I am getting off lo ovral as soon as i can get another prescrip. for something else. The plus side: no weight gain or acne. As we have said all over these boards though is that each pill works differently for everyone. Good luck!!
