we have given up trying for a baby, after years of putting our life on hold and focusing on nothing else we now have our lives back and we are happy again.

Default xenical

Well, I was not trying for a baby at the time. But I really think it would be a bad idea-you need to absolutely avoid fats, and even if you do you have pretty constant diarrhea, so I doubt much nutrition is staying in your body.

Oh, and during the month I was on Xenical, I gained 6 lbs. So I don't think it's that great an option. Especially costing as much as it does.

Good luck,

Christine

I replied to a thread about this a couple of months ago - type Orlistat into the search field and have a look at that.

This is not medical advice but a personal opinion, but I would not take Orlistat whilst TTC. The first few months of taking it can really mess with your digestion and even when you do get established taking it it removes fats (many of which are essential to baby growth) out of your digestive cycle. I'm sure your doctor would have a more precise medical explaination but as a preganant cyster who is trying so hard to make sure my baby has evey nutrient it needs I would say definately not.

Hope that helps but do look at old threads for more advice.

Julia
