Default Anybody wake up with cotton mouth?

Since taking Met for about 6 weeks, I seem to wake up every night with an extremely dry mouth. Feels like I have a mouth full of cotton. I get up and get a drink of water and sometimes suck on a sugar free throat drop. I was hoping this was a temporary side effect, but it doesn't seem to be going away.

I have been having the same problems. I keep a glass of water near my bed for when I wake up during the night. Also I went to my dentist I explained about this and he had me garge with a mouth wash. I havent noticed that much of a diffrence but it supposabley helps. Wish I could be more helpful.

Sound to me that you may be getting dehidrated. Make sure you are drinking alot of liquids. As you know met makes you go #2 alot and its normally loose so that can dehidrate you very easily. If you are having muscle cramps also that would be the case also.

Default Don't think it's dehydration

I drink at least 64 oz of water a day. If I was dehydrated, you think I would urinate less frequently, but I always have to pee when I wake up in the middle of the night (and I have for years--met didn't change that). Also no muscle cramps at all.
