Anyone been switched to Solia (generic of Desogen) recently?

I have been taking Desogen for 10 years now. When it went to generic a few years back, I started that (Apri Tablets). That worked fine. I was recently switched to Solia (another generic form of Desogen) and my cycle has been screwed up. I don't know if this is the cause but it could be.

I went off of bcp from last December to April to see if Met would straighten me out. It didn't. I went back on BCP because I grew a mustache. The first cycle was Apri Tablets and went fine, no probs. (My cycles are 91 days). The second two cycles were screwed up, with a full period in the middle even though I was still on the pills, but these were the new kind, Solia.

Just wondering if anyone else had problems with this new generic BCP.

did you ever totally lose your cycle for any period of time?

Short answer: No.

Not while on the pills. (From Dec to April, I only had one period while not on BCPs).

On Pills:

First 91 day cycle--Normal
Second 91 day cycle--started bleeding @ 63 days--more than spotting, less than af. Lasted until end of cycle with regular af.
Third 91 day cycle--could swear I ovulated three weeks into pills. I had thick mucus discharge and exaclty 14 days later full blown af, even though I had 4 weeks to go before my regular af.

Just started af for 4th cycle. We'll see how it goes.
