Question Anyone do their own facial waxing?

Anyone ever do their own facial waxing with a product such as this? http://www.folica.com/One_Touch_Perso_d138.html
I've used the smaller one for "facial hair" (they obviously don't know the trials and tribulations of women with PCOS) for my upper lip....but was thinking of getting the larger one for my chin/neck area, since my hairgrowth is equal to that of a man's [i.e., ALL over the whole chin/upper neck/some of my lower cheeks (along jaw line)].

I don't want to go somewhere & get it waxed b/c the people who do it are extremely cold-hearted bastards that give you looks like you're some kind of freak---and it costs way to much. Also - I like things done a certain way - and no-one has been able to satisfy that...so I figure why not do it myself/have a friend help me?

Anyone that can offer some advice?

Hi

I know what you mean. I never go to some beauty place and let them 'see' although I do get my eye brows done there.

Anyway - I have tried the home wax stuff for my cheeks, chin, lip etc and it didn't work.

I've never used that product yet. And I've only done my own waxing.

I always do my own face, chin, sideburn etc and underarms. I do my legs and everything else lololol...at a salon. I realy do not care what othr people think, but I must say I got the sweatest cosmetician ever.
I invested in GiGi products. The wax warmer, the wax the whole 9, and it's worth it. Once you get them, you only buy the wax once in a while, I buy mine maybe once a year. I reause it and starin it. I only throuw away the underarm strips.
Check it out on the net, you must find some supplier, in NY you can get it from Ricky's.
It is EXTREMLY convenient: you plug it at a power supply it warms up, you use it any time you want. For me now after so many years is once a week, sometimes twice. It take about 15 minutes and I'm done.
I love waxing!! There isn't anything better. Hope it helps.

I do my own waxing at home and use Parissa (canadian brand that is available at Fred Meyer). It is the best one that I've found yet!

I used to do my own facial waxing using Avon's hot wax. Now I use my Braun Silk Epil on my face because it is faster and not messy.
