I am in Oshawa.

I have one son thanks to Dr Pyselman but I will not be going back. Her bedside manner sucks!

Hi everyone
I'm in Pickering. Actually just moved out here about 9 months ago. Before I was in East York. Sorry I can't recommend any doctors!
I am looking for a good GP in the area if anyone has any recommendations. I have a GP in East York but I'm not all that impressed with her and would like someone closer to home.
Thanks!

I am in the Durham region, I live in Pickering...

I originally grew up in Markham, so that is where my family doctor is and was passed onto Dr. Pyselman at the Markham Stouffville Hospital and now we have a baby girl...

What do you mean?
Disappointment with Dr. P or with not getting pregnant?

i really like Dr P... i guess i am in a different place, i have 2 wonderful kids but want a #3 but its so hard to work it out to get there (45 min drive one way) and arrange child care...there is a clinic here in oshawa i might check out..even if its just to get help with the pcos that is really out of control right now...

Default Long time ladies!

Hi all
It's been a while for me.....
My DD is three now.
I am currently notworking anymore in Markham and have been seeing dr. Hepburn out ofthe Oshawa clinic.
He is an amazing docotr. Great beside manner. Totally open to options. (april 08/ now and he is not open to options!!!! booooo)
I was seeing Dr. P in Markham but she just kept forcing clomid on me till I had a MC in Nov 07. Once I saw Dr. H he siad I shouldn't have been taking it for so many months.

After over a year now though (only 1 1/2 months with Dr. H) I think we are moving onto adoption.
Mentally and physically Iam spent.
I am on letrezole now and the side effects for me are brutal.

We are just waiting to hear back from DCA to get into taking our classes. If it happens naturally it will be wonderful but it's time to add more kids to my hosue.....
I really like Dr. P but her bedside manner left something to be desired.
Granted technically she got me pregnant, however I had a miscarraige at 5 weeks.

Nice to be back and chat.

Jenn

What is it with Ontario fertility doctors? I'm not from Durham, I'm just north of Newmarket...but I went to a fertility specialist, Dr. Watt...and he was a COMPLETE arsehole, I felt like leaping over the desk and ripping every hair out of his head!

I am in Whitby and seeing Dr. Hepburn as well. We just had our first visit with him and he seems pretty nice. Most important though is he seems to know what he's talking about!

Sorry I didn't catch your real name.
This month with DR. Hepburn wasn't as nice. I left his office in tears.
He was not open to moving to a monitored cycle but I forced him and were doing it.
I like the freedom of them taking care of the details...he said I was the only woman he saw that ever wanted to be monitored.
Well see how things go, otherwise I might ask to see Dr. Rowe in the same office.
I have to say it's the only clinic I have ever been to that is not a true fertility clinic. They don't have women lined up for tests, I go every morning almost for monitoring and only once have I come across another woman.
He does not believe it monitoring and is a wait and see kinda guy.
That is what he said, wait and see.

I told him that after 16 months and turning 32 this summer I am not in wait and see kinda mode.
he didn't really like it, and luckily my husband was there to speak up for me and tell him how stressful doing it his way was on me....
Good luck. I hope you get along with him.

I really like Dr. Pyselman, she never got me pregnant but was always willing to make it happen as fast as possible....
I don't know I have never seen a male infertility doctor before so I couldn't handle his coolness...he couldn't understand my emotions and wouldn't even offer me a kleenex even though I was sobbing in his office.

Sorry I dont mean to put a damper on that for you, he and I just may not ever click....

You can always PM me if you want more info about him.

Jenn
