Jo:
Do you mind if I ask what doctors you have seen in the area?

Thanks

I used to live in Whitby. I'm actually hoping to be visiting later this year... well depends how insane I'm feeling since I'll probably be travelling internationally alone with an infant.

Default Durham

Hi ladies

I am in Oshawa.

I am looking for a close doctor. I too was going to the Markham Clinic but need an Endo as my old one was downtown Toronto.

I just gave birth in November and my fertility doctor put me back on the pill. Which is what I wanted, but now in the middle of my pill pack I am bleeding and have been for 6 days. My GP shrugged me off and said not to worry. Who cares if I have another baby. Ahhh I do. I have so many bills from trying to have her and I got laid off at 30 weeks.

She won't run blood tests and won't recommend a specialist for me. Is there anyone in the area or scarborough that you know of, I will just tell her to send me, but without a name she just sort of laughs. I left her office crying yesterday.

My poor husband waited 6 weeks and now he can't touch me again, I'm so frustrated.

Can anyone help me?

Jenn

Hi Jen.
I see Dr. Tremblay, she is not a endo, but rather an ob/gyn.
Sorry I cannot help you.
Congrats though on the new baby.
I am doing my first cycle of clomid this month. Hopefully we will luck out like yous did - within the first 3 months.

Take care
Lyndsee

Sorry that I haven't got back to you on this. But for some reason I didn't see this again until just now.

I have only seen one doctor in the Durham Region and I disliked him. He didn't know anything about PCOS and he was just very unfriendly.

I am now going downtown to the Mount Sinai Reproductive Clinic and I am seeing Dr. Ellen Greenblatt and I love her. I have gotten pregnant once but I lost the baby and it was only my second IUI. I am getting ready to do my 3rd IUI in the next month so I am hoping that 3 is the charm.

Congrats Jenn on your Baby Girl.

Lyndsee, I hope that clomid works for you. If you have any more questions just let me know.

Hey there Im from Ajax.
I see a Doc in Ajax he is just an OBGYN but deals with alot of fertility issues and i was directed to him by my family doc who highly respected him.
I didnt like him at first....he doesnt have the best bedside manner but hes a very good doc. Over the time ive seen him i have come to respect him and trust him. His bedside manner gets better the more you see him!.
His name is Dr. Sami Karkanis and hes on Bayly st in Ajax.
Hope that helps

Leigh
