I was at the DR today and was rx clomid 150mg for cd 3-12. Has anyone heard or been on this kind of dosage? If so when should I expect to o? Six to 12 days after the pill?

Since starting my new life on May 24/05 of calorie counting, exercising and taking 2000mg of met faithfully I now have 'regular' ovulatory cycles and have lost 75 lbs going from a size 22 to size 10.

I've never heard of someone taking clomid for 10 days???? that sounds fishy?
The most I've heard is 6 days....

I'm on clomiphene citrate 150s for 5 days, not 10. Never heard of 10, and it sounds weird. Maybe you should get a second opinion.

Actually, I have taken it for 8 days. Cycles days 2 to 10. My re told me that some women with pco need it a bit longer to give their follicles an extra boost to keep growing. It seemed to help me. Before I would only get one follicle (if I was lucky) and taking it eight days caused me to get two or three each time.
