Default Anyone else get Nauseous in the last week of their packs?

I have been getting nauseous in the last week of my pills packs for the past 3-4 months. At first I thought it was just coincidence, but now I am wondering if its my pills. This month, I also have a low grade fever all week. It never went above 100, but it was in the mid 99's most of the time. I am normally in the high 97's.

I am currently on Levora and thinking about asking my doctor to try something else. I just hate playing around with medicines.

Anyone else get this?

I do, Actually the last week and the first week I go back on them. I have ocular migraines and get them from estrogen fluctuations. I am going off the pill soon because for two whole weeks every month Im miserable. One thing you might want to try is a pill where there is less fluctuation such as seasonale where you only get a period every three months so its not as much of a fluctuation.

I used to be a beast and nausious as well...You need to find the right pill for you. Try a lesser dosage of estrogen. Doc put me on Lo Ovral because of my other experiances with yasmin, nurvra ring, ortho tri cyclin, and allesse. The first month was very rough but I finally leveled out and am doing ok.

Good luck sweetie! Hope you feel better.

Thanks for the replies!

I started Levora at the end of Feb. I guess if I get sick again this month, I am going to call my Dr and ask to be switched to something else. I took Orthocept when I was younger with no problems and also Lo-Overal.

For the temp, I think I am just having hot flashes which seems wierd to me. I am only 28. My husband suggested I try something for hot flashes, but I told him they are all for menopause.

I just posted this exact thing on a different thread. I was getting real nauseous about 5 days before I started. I would also get a horrible headache (poss. migraine). Before my last cycle, I actually got sick. This used to happen all the time until I had a Laparoscopy in February. I was fine for about 2 months, then it started again. I asked my doctor about it Monday, and she said she could give me a suppository but that was about it. She said this is common PMS. I’m not too sure about it because the few months after my surgery, I didn’t have any problems. When I had the surgery, they removed about a cup of fluid from the cysts. I’m wondering if maybe that would have something to do with it. Who knows? Good luck!
