Default Anyone else have drilling done?

I was diagnosed two years ago with PCOS when my husband I tried to conceive. I have taking many rounds of clomid and my body does respond to it quite well. I just never got pregnant. I also tried doing IUI's with the clomid and no luck. I was recently put on Metformin back in December and last month my DR. talked to me about having laproscopic surgey and possibly drilling done on my ovaries. I just wanted to know if there is anyone on here who has had this procedure done and if they did get prego after having it done. I am so scared to get this done, but I do think it may be a better route since I have taken so many rounds of medications.

I had my ovarian drilling last summer and we got pregnant the following month. I never tried clomid, but I was also on met when I got pregnant and for my first trimester. I definately think its what got us our BFP! The surgery wasn't bad, I was in and out the same day. I had my surgery on a Thursday and was back at work on Tuesday or Wednesday. Good luck!!

My insurance covers it, but my husband is also in the air force. So our medical will cover everything except for IVF and I really do not want to go that route unless I have tried all my options. My dr. said if this doesn't work then next we move on to injections. I am hoping for the best with all of this.
