Default Anyone Else?? Numb Feet/Elliptical Machine

My feet go numb while on the elliptical machine. After about 10 minutes my balls of my feet to my toes go all tingliey. It doesn't hurt so much but is VERY uncomfortable. Does this happen to anyone else?

Many DDoggies, lost my best doggie friend Daisy a few months ago. Weird how that REALLY turned on my mommy feelings into overdrive. Daisy was 11 1/2 and will missed forever.

My gym has two types of elliptical machines. One type does this exact thing to me. I'm glad I'm not just weird.

when i first started using the elliptical my toes would go numb too. it is uncomfortable, but i enjoy the elliptical too much to give it up. after a while, the numbness stopped. i've noticed that it comes back from time to time. do you have bunions by any chance? i have them on both feet and i wonder if that contributes to the problem. my best advice is to wear shoes that give your toes plenty of room. running shoes are very snug on me so i don't wear them. i usually wear my vans (i know, that's not an athletic shoe lol) or new balance. my feet are wide, i have fallen arches, and bunions. i can't really do the pretty shoe thing.

Yeah, this happens to me. Apparently it happens to a LOT of people because the machine I bought for my home (Sole e55) actually allows you to adjust the incline of the foot beds to help specifically with this problem. It also allows/forces you to work different muscles, depending on if you are more on your toes versus more level.

At my gym I used a LifeFitness machine and when my feet started to go numb I found sort of picking them up so I was kind of marching on the elliptical helped a lot.
