Default Is anyone else in pain all the time?

I cant take it anymore. I am in constant pain. I swear to god its specifically my ovaries and Ican feel them whenever i move around...almost like they're swollen. I cant lay on my stomach without it hurting, it gets worse if I stand or walk around for long periods of time. I go insane if my FI even lays his hand on my stomach. Its not cramps or even cramp-like. Its this dull aching pain that at time gets so intese it can make u weak in ur knees and i have had to randomly sit on the ground when I've been out because it got so intense. Motrin doesnt help... Anyone else have this?

I use to have alot of pain like you are talking about. My gyne said it was from where my ovaries where enlarge and i had many cyst on them and they use to rupture. The answer for me was going on metformin. Since i been on that med i haven't had no trouble with pain at all except for a few crampss during af. What has your dr said about this pain you been having? I hope things get better for you soon.

When I had my ultrasound, my Dr. said my ovaries were enlarged..this was back in early July... but i didnt have this type of pain then.. i had a whole bunch of cysts pop at that time at that was really painful.... which was why i went to the dr.'s in the first place... I have an appt in Nov.... Ill def. bring it up but he was just like there's nothing i can do u just have to lose weight...... so I guess we'll see... did anything help relieve the pain when u had it?

The only thing that use to help was a prescription pain reliever anaprox. But even that at times only use to work for a hr or so then the pain use to comeback and i couldn't take any more for 6 hrs. Are you on any meds for treating your pcos.

mmmmm yeah i've been taking three to four motrin at a time.. and same thing it takes the edge off for about an hour or soo.

Im only on yasmine...... I just had my second period in a row... which is comforting. I dont have health insurance at the moment... but i start my new job tommorrow... My old gyn retired so I went to a gyn. that a friend reccomended. He diagnosed me immediatly but wasnt really helpful however i recently went to my regualr md for my allergies/asmtha and when i told him about the pcos, right away he was like i want to do more testing and it needs to be done .. come back the second u get insurance. So hopefully he'll be a little more helpful

Have you ever been checked for endometriosis? That can only be diagnosed through a lap (scope surgery) though.
Also, do these cysts grow big and burst?
I've had ovarian cysts before (not the regular small ones with PCOS) that needed to be removed through scope surgery. I remember right before they diagnosed me with a cyst, I bled ALL the time and heavy.
If it's endometriosis, I don't bleed, just in pain ALL the time.
I hope they find out what is going on, and i hope you feel better!!

Hi

I know how horrible constant pain is. I used to be like this until I went on the mirena ius - now I can manage the pain much better.
