I need to know how they are to deal with. Do things move pretty fast or slow? Anyone know how they are with timelines?

Any info you could give me would be helpful.

I don't know any specific info about CC. All I know is 4 years ago when I was researching I heard someone's horror story of a 7 year wait with no end result except that $5K was taken and nothing ever came of it.

That's the only thing I ever heard. We didn't go with them because we found China, not because of the story we heard.

Sorry I don't have anything better to report--I hope when you talk to them you get lots of good & promising info!

I have actually heard worse, that is why we were going with DCFS. Here where we live the wait is now about 10 years with the price being around $10k.

We found out about Jacob actually on accident. We had inquired about a another little boy thru DCFS and we got an email from this adoption specialist saying that little boy wasn't yet ready for adoption but Jacob is ready.

We are trying to play this one as cool as we have tried with the others. Our homestudy is about 13 months old and we are getting ready to update everything in August, but he said it all looks great. We do know that Jacob qualifies for Federal and State subsidies along with Medicaid.

I guess we will find out more tomorrow.
