Question Anyone experience low cortisol?

I was tested over the weekend for cortisol levels to rule out Cushing's syndrome. Turns out my cortisol levels were flagged low. My result was 1.7 (ug/dL). Normal levels are 4.3-22.4. I am confused at this point. Being the "traditional" PCOS woman, I am at 240 lbs with a concentration of weight around my abdomen. I am eating normal to less than normal (1400-1600 cal per day). I don't eat unless I'm hungry. If I do start to eat more than usual, I get very sick to my stomach and have headaches.
I am not sure what to do at this point. I am on 1500 mg of met, and my weight is STILL stuck at what I was when I started.
With low cortisol, I thought that weight was supposed to drop. I don't know what this test result could mean. Any help or experiences would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
