Default anyone get more anxious and jittery with physical exertion??

Seems when I clean the house, have a workout routine that even the next day I feel more anxious than normal. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? It used to be physical activity and exercise made me feel great. Now I am not so sure anymore. Seems like it makes me more anxious.

Smile I Know What Your Going Through

I thought it was only me. i walk around with butterfly's in my stomach all day everyday, and i feel jittery most of the time. i started to notice that run ning up the steps made me feel excited like something was about to happen. then today i was on the treadmill and i felt superanxious, like the running and walking wasnt enough. i cleaned my room yesterday like i was on speed and i'm on nothing...i just couldnt stop. i bet its another hormone thing, good luck.

"like i was on speed and i'm on nothing" LOL omg you are to cute!!

I get anxious and jittery too, but I've never really paid attention to what I was doing at the time... but after reading this I think I will try to pay better attention to what I'm doing when I get those feelings... could it have anything to do with blood presure do you think?

my blood pressure is usually fine but my pulse is high. No clue what it is and all the doctors I go to act like I am crazy. They all say they have never heard of that before. That my hormones are fine, my thyroid is fine... all the obvious things are fine. Drives me nuts!

omg -

This has been me lately!

I've been suffering from anxiety since this summer and can't tolerate much caffine at all. (I used to be a coffee junkie)

The other thing I loved to do is run. Since my anxiety has gotten a hold of me, it feels like running gets my heart rate up too much. Like I can't tolerate it.

When an antidepressant starts to work (been trying a few things to see what I can tolerate) then I feel like I can exert myself again.

I hope I can get a handle on this soon or I'm going to be "jello woman"!

Hmm, it would be more like I would feel anxious and then become active (i.e. clean my room for the entire night), not the opposite. I would feel ancious beforehand.
