I was just wondering which cyster recommended Dr Anthony Caruso? He has offices throughout illinois and Indiana. I have called the office in Munster, Indiana, and someone is supposed to give me a call back tomorrow sometime. I was curious as what to expect from the initial consultation....if he would offer to do tests right away or what.....its just that ive been waiting for my insurance to kick in for the past year almost. I really dont want to waste anymore time on another Dr that wont help me out.....Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Please let me know how your visit turns out! I was thnking about going to him based on this site, but I decided to see Dr. Randy Morris instead. He was another recommeed by the site. I go to see him for my intion visit on the 21st of this month. I did go to see Dr. Angoli in Hinsdale! BEWARE! I was in and out of his office on 15 minutes including the wait in the waiting room. He was recommed by my extremely cool gp but Dr. Angoli was not cool at all!

COOL! i went to Dr. Randy Morris!! He is a very very nice man...ANd seemed to be very thorough. We only did the consult and the S/A for DH....and i went to the office in Naperville...and we moved like an hour and a half away from there on the IL and IN border line...and i just thought that was too far away. Good luck! I am sure that you will like him alot!!
Where ya from? (if u dont mind my asking)
I heard dr Angoli or whatever his name was wasnt good. Did he not do much for you?

I am relived to hear that about Dr. Morris. He will be Dr. number 4 for treatment. We were also married in 2002, June, but we are not ttc right now. Most likely in the next 1-2 years to start to try! We are enjoying being newlyweds still I want to get everything in check now so that we can have an easier time later, but no one is willing to talk to us becasue we are not ttc. Here is the bcp be on your way! That kind of thing. I pick him vs. Caruso because his office is in closer proximity to my home. The site that I checked out caruso on was www.ivf.us/home.php. Let me know when you do go to see him. I am curious in case I have undesireable results with Morris. I am scared it is going to be another Agnoli visit You have reasured me though!
T minus 8 days and counting!
I live in Naperville. What about you?

Yea, if you live in Naperville, then Dr morris is perfect for you since you live there....I really doubt you will be dissappointed with him..>The consult isnt too long...but he does cover all the topics...he will also rush to get all the bloodwork done needed so you can try Glucophage, Avandia or Actos... I really think you will like him....
I used to live in Romeoville...so we were pretty close..Now, im in Hammond, IN....Im like 15 minutes from the city..and about 45 minutes from Romeoville...

I am getting so excited. It has been such a long road. My general doctor wnats me on Glucophage but he told me he didn't know enough of PCOS ( go figure someone who doesn't know) to put me on it with a second opinion.
Romeoville was sooo close! Well good luck and we will be sprinkling baby dust your way!

Hi...I live in Schererville, Indiana and am going tomorrow (Tuesday) to the University of Chicago Hospital to see Dr. Ehrmann. I have been waiting since my 1st appt. back in June to see him, but it was cancelled on me and it took this long to get in. Finally...I can't wait to go there since they have a PCOS clinic! I really hope that all of my questions will be answered.

Univeristy of Chicago, Dr. David Ehrmann, is a PCOS specialist. His wait time for a new appointment is approximately 2 months. My reg Gyn has done everything kind of right, I want a second opinion. We are TTC for 1 year with no luck. Time to go to the big time and try it all.
WE are neighbors!! I live in Hammond Indiana!! How cool!!! Ive heard wonderful things about the University of Chicagos PCOS center...THe only reason why I didnt get an appointment there is because of the long waiting period..(ive been waiting long enough! ) I chose Dr Anthony Caruso because of the fact he has an office in Munster, Indiana...and Merrillville, so that is pretty close to me. I only had to wait about a month to get in to see him as well....I'm just hoping he will be a good doctor, and he will be able to help us out with finally getting our miracle! Good luck tomorrow! Let me know how it goes!
