Michelle,

If you can get there, definitely go. You rarely get the chance to have so many PCOS focussed professionals in the same room talking to you.

If you can afford it, go - both of you.

Also, early bird registrations close at the end of July, so you should get your form in soon.

Mez.

Hey Mez,

Good to hear your advice.

Yeah, cost is the biggest problem at the moment, since we live interstate. I think the conference itself is very affordable, it's everything else that's not!! LOL

I was excited to see that my repro specialist is one of the speakers... !! Cool

Michelle

Me!! I'm going!! Flying down from BrisVegas on the Friday, having some sight seeing, then the conference... and then two more days of sight seeing before I head back up here to QLD on Monday night.

Where are you heading from Michelle? It cost me $111 each way to book tickets with Qantas.

Hi again Michelle.

Have you checked out the forums on www.posaa.asn.au? From memory I think one woman was offering a spare room for anyone coming to Syd for the conference - that's all I can remember. At least that will be some more savings.

Kath, it'll be great to meet you.

I read loads of posts on this site, but am typically too lazy to respond to most of them (shame on me).

Come up and say hello. I'm the POSAA Member Services Officer so I'm sure all us committee members will be wearing something so people can identify us.

I want to go but getting to sydney is not easy for me, so I'm still trying to work out how to do it.
Michelle, if you scroll down the aussie forum, I made a post about the conference a while back which has some of the accommodation options.

Hi everyone,

DH and I decided we're in on this conference and just finished filling out the rego form - will send payment later today! Also filled out a POSAA membership form... exciting, I'm now a member!! (Well, when the payment is made...)

Thanks for your encouragement to attend - it was just what I needed.

Cool Michelle! I'm all joined up as a member too - I've wanted to do it for ages but never pulled my finger out and done it! The conference gave me a good reason.

It will be great to meet some other cysters!

Woohoo, new members, great to see! Joining really helps Posaa to have a stronger voice that can be heard by politicians and doctors etc, plus you get all the latest info.

After registering should we expect tickets in the mail or something? or do we just get ticked off the list when we arrive? I faxed my registration with credit card details to the fax no. in the direct deposit section of the registration form. I hope thats OK. Should we expect any feedback?

Thanks.
