i am having a weird cycle. i just started my period again and i had just stopped bleeding 11 days ago and that period lasted for 14 days. Am I weird or is this normal for women with pcos?

Some women w/ PCOS have non stop peridos AKA "irregular uterine bleeding". But then some women w/ PCOS have no periods AKA "Amennoreah" (sp?) at all. Still some other women with PCOS have "normal" cycles. What I'm trying to say is that Pcos is so diffrent for all of us. So I think you should proabaly look at it like is this "normal" for me. Regardless you should proabaly say something to your DR. since this sounds like it might be the first time happeneing to you. HTH.... GL Keep us posted!

Yes Ma'am!!
I have had periods just like that. I started spotting in the middle of my cylcles and it got worse and worse until I was spotting 60 days straight I wound up going to OB/GYN . He put me on Yasmin and my periods became regular.

When I was still in my teens, that happened to me too. I've never had a "normal" cycle. Now I don't have any without being drug-induced.

Yup. I'm pretty sure it's a PCOS thing. Lucky us.

my periods were normal till I started my Spiro...I had been prescribed BCP at the same time, they were just taking longer to come in. I was having a period every 2 weeks till I got my BCP...they regulated my periods and I was "back to normal"

it start like that when the doc put me on prozac. it also cause me to lose 18 lbs in one month.

my cycle go like this, have my period last for anything upto 14 days (heavy flow), then i have about three days clear, then i start spotting everyday untill my next full blown period.
if this is normal i dont know, sorry i can be of more help
