Hiya everyone, well I think I am going to have to go back on roaccutane again, as Im still getting zits
Has anyone had to have another round of accutane?
And did the 2nd round clear you?

I went on a second round of accutane about 6 months after the first one. The dose the second time around was twice what I was on the first time. My acne temporarily improved at the end of both treatments but eventually came back (even faster the second time). I have read that accutane is only effective for less than 25% of women who have adult-onset, hormonal acne.
I went on a second bout of Accutane and the results didn't last as long as first time. My skin was clear for 3 years after the first time and only 1 year after my second treatment (at a higher dosage and a longer duration). And as a parting gift for 2 failed treatments, I received Hidradenitis Supperativa - something which is a 1000 times worse than acne. Stay away from Accutane - find an endocrinologist and treat your hormonal issues from the inside not just topically.
