I was on 500mg last week with no problems. I started taking 1000mg yesterday and I had a really bad headache last night and again all day today.
It might just be a coincidence, not sure.

I did at first... I think when I was on 500 or 1000. It seemed to go away after about a week. Hang in there.

Me: 33 - just me & the pets Diagnosed with PCOS March 2008 (anovulatory, irregular menses, acne, androgenetic alopecia, iron deficiency anemia - NOT TTC, just want a regular period and clear skin!) Meds: Metformin ER 2000 mg daily (started 3/27/08), Repliva 21/7 (a great iron supplement for people who can't tolerate ferrous sulfate), B12)
Same here. Mine lasted about 4 - 5 days when I first started at 500mg, and again each time that I upped my dosage. Hang in there - it should get better!
Thanks ladies. When I posted the headache was on the right side. I woke up this morning and now I feel like one is forming on the left side. Great...

I seem to be getting really bad headaches also...I have been on Met for about a month and just upped the dose to 500...not sure if this is the cause of them or just stress.....
Anyone had headaches from Met?
