The trouble is that however quickly or slowly it grows back, you've got to let it grow out long enough for the wax to grip before you can wax it again. You're probably able to hide your sideburns without too much difficulty, but you won't be able to hide your moustache during that period.
i hve notcied though that the veet cold wax strips actually pic up hair thats really small..not all the hair at once but some of it and you can try one or two times it will still leave little hair but then thats what the wonderful thing called threading was invented for! so u dont have to grow it back like whiskers before waxing it again..

Probably works well with the finer, softer hairs. The really coarse, male-type hairs are another story :-(. My moustache is all coarse, male-type hairs.
i have "sideburns" too and I shave them at least every 2-3 days. For some reason the hair there grows slower than the hair on my chin and neck. But i'm not complaining!

i get the same thing, but i cant wax or use a depilatory cause then my face breaks out, apparently i have sensitive skin.. i just bleach it and hope nobody notices it too much.
Nair Cire Divine, a wax kit that you melt swipe on and peel off (no strips, the wax gets solid) works on very fine short and well as thick hairs..
i have it too but my hair is dark in both areas and i have more on my chin but by my neck this is very crazy i hate it i pull them out but its getting very bad i heard they have so cream out there for it i am going to my dr next thur. about it.
I've got it on the sides of my face too and a little tiny bit on my cheeks (only noticeable in a magnified mirror really), but I pretty much leave it alone because it's mostly blonde and fuzzy right now. I wax my upper lip, usually once every 6 weeks or so. It stings a little but it's not that bad.

I have it too, the hair on the side of my face is soft, getting darker. My face is another story ,I have to pluck it everyday!!! I have tried waxing which works and lasts a little longer, but is painful!
i have had side burns all my life and a light mustach and occasional chin hairs.
ive just been diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor has put me on diane 35 and androcur and also glucophage. he said that my facial hair problems will get better and that i should start to see results in a few months and within 7 to 8 months the results will be even more evident and PERMANENT (lets hope so).
anyways does anyone have success stories with having their facial hair become less or disappear just by the medication alone?????
Chin hair primarily is something that looks yukky if you have dark hair (black in my case since thats the color of hair on my head). Shaving seemed to make is thicker and very difficult to bleach.
However, you have to deal with it I guess. shaving once in three days works for me.
Ok, 2 major hairy places to worry about on my face. I have hair on the sides of my face. It is in the aprox. 1inch space along the sides of my face under where your side burns would be, down to the corner of my jawbone. It has always been blonde and just a little BUT, is getting darker and thicker. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS? Also, under my chin. Not a bunch on my chin but under it, like between my chin and neck. I have waxed it once down there and is starting to come back.
Yes , I've had the sideburn hair for years, since I was 13. First to come up was a moustache at around 12, then sideburn then chin hair at around 15. All started off a light brown, then over the years has developed to a very dark brown, almost black and got thicker.
Cyproterone acetate has cured my chest, shoulder and tummy hair. It's had a good effect on the sideburn hair - much thinner and coarse, but not much on the chin hair, which is still just as horrid as before.
I get dark hair on my chin and neck and upper lip... lighter hair on my cheeks. I get it all waxed (chin/neck/lip every week to 10 days... and my cheeks about once a month.)
Thank god for my mother in law! It is so embarassing to think about going to a spa to have it done.. I am seriously considering getting laser treatments... I've heard that it can take 3-10 times depending on the individual... but I've heard of people only going once or twice. I'm going to try as soon as I can come up with the $$ for it!
