I also have the hair on my face, my problem is on the side of my face under where the side burns are, but it also goes up to the corner of my eyes ( not thick, just fine hair) but I have brown hair, and the hair on my sides are dark. Mostly I go to the hairdressers or local spa and get it waxed off.. it doesnt hurt, and it really gets thinner and not as dark..if i run into a rut, and cant make it I shave it. BUT it starts the process over again if i shave .. it gets thick etc..
Oh and also Ihave a face wax at home with no strips, my hubby will rip off the wax for me cuz I dont have the guts.. lol so if you were too embarrassed to go out and get it waxed then try the home kit you can get at walmart.
Good Luck Ladies...

JoyBlack: You're awesome. I'm glad I didn't offend you (I didn't, did I?) Thanks for being so understanding. BTW, tell your husband I said he's awesome too!

No, of course you didn't offend me. And I don't expect everyone to agree with me. If I seem to be coming on very strong, it's just because I see people as miserable as I once was about my moustache growth being as heavy as a male's and I know that I'm not miserable now, like I once was; my moustache (and now beard) growth don't worry me at all now, any more than dh's worry him, they haven't spoiled my life and aren't spoiling it. I just want to share with other people that it's possible for a woman to have a great life even if she has male-type moustache and beard growth.

I'll tell dh he has a fan club ........... but you can't have him -- I'm keeping him to myself :-). I'm sure there are other husbands and boyfriends equally supportive.

hi abovetheextreme,

i'm not sure if it depends on the amount of hair you have...i dont think so because i remember having read somewhere that the pcos dose for spiro is 200mg. i could be wrong and maybe others will correct me about it, but check it out on the spiro threads too. i'm sorry i couldn't be more helpful about this ;(

Hi,
I know this thread is old but I really need some advice.
my facial hair has gotten darker, still thin though but they are dark brown.I notice this last year it wasnt that bad until I tried diane 35 for a month,to be honest it really helped all the hair on my face went back to blonde but dues to severe side effects I had to discontinue it.the hairs gradualy got darker and I'm about to start anti androgens but I cant really decide which one would work on my peach fuzz.
I undertand that spiro would slow down the regrowth but I'm looking for sth that works on lightning of my facial hair.
any advice please!!
Thanks

I have electrolysis done on my neck and chin area recently and I ended up with scars. Of course the tech doing it didn't tell me this could happen. My Braun epilator is a much better option.
