I have battled acne on and off throughout my life, and have generally controlled it by taking BCP. Well, when DH and I started TTC and stopped taking BCP, the acne gradually came back, especially after I would ovulate. Not fun, but I could live with it.

I took Vitex (in Fertility Blend) and my acne went crazy all over my face. I didn't see the connection at first but once it became obvious after two months, I stopped, and the acne seemed to clear up a bit.

Then I started on Clomid in June of '04, my acne has been severe ever since. The only time it has cleared up was while I was on some form of steroid for an unrelated rash, or when taking Dexamethazone when doing my IVF cycle. I did not get pregnant from the IVF cycle, and my body still seems screwed up from the Clomid.

I do not know if I have PCOS, but my one ovary (I have one now) seems to be on a whack schedule, although my cycles themselves seem to work like clockwork.

Anyway, just curious if anyone else had the same trouble as me, as I know it is uncommon. You have a great site here and your acne information with regards to TTC is very helpful!
