Default Anyone have a Magic Bullet?

I bought one from HSN several months ago, and just started using it. It is AWESOME and very handy for whipping up smoothies, salsa, sauces, etc.

No need to haul out the blender. Plus it comes with a juicer, and 'blend in' cups with handles (so you don't have to mess up a glass.)

BTW, I see that Target sells then now.

Oooh! Oooh! Me! Me! I asked for it for Christmas, and I LOVE it! I use it for smoothies, marinades, dressings and to make Owen's baby food. That thing is AWSOME! My cross-cut blade crapped out, and in the confusion at the warehouse (took over a month to get one shipped out), they sent me two! So I have one and a spare. Woohoo!

I thought it would be a piece of infomercial junk (that sucked me in), but the Magic Bullet ROCKS!

Ooohh...I really want one, I might have to check it out!! My blender was REALLY cheap and it always smells like it is burning when I use it. It never makes good smoothies, so I never have em, and I love smoothies!! Target here I come! Kristi

Kristi -

Check HSN, too. I got a really good deal there. If you're a smoothie girl, a Magic Bullet is a must!

I found it on target.com for $60, and I think free shipping. I will have to check out the Target stores. I coudn't find it on HSN, but I will look around more when I have more time...

That might be the 'deluxe' package. I recall it being cheaper than that when I was in the store.
There's an option to get it with extra 'blend in mugs' and the 'juicer'...(I think that's the $60 price - I think..)

The one on target.com was the 17 piece set, and it showed the blend in mugs...it would be worth it though, then I could throw out my bad blender!!

Ooh, I want one now. I thought it would be a piece of *ahem* but if y'all like it, I bet I would too. I would never chew anything ever again.

I LOVE the infomercial for it. Especially the harried-waitress looking gal with the burning cig in her mouth. I said to my mom, "I wanna be an infomercial actress!" after watching that particular one.

One word of caution... Do NOT try to juice anything harder than watermelon in it. Yes, the infomercial shows them juicing hard stuff. DON'T do it. I tried juicing an apple and some carrot and nearly burned the darn thing up. And got barely anything for it. Just shredded pulp. Spend $50 and buy a juicer if you want juice. Save the Magic Bullet for smoothies and sauces and grating hard cheese.

I am going to buy one, I saw it at my Walgreens the other day. Hubby is going to have WLS, and Ive heard the Magic bullet is great for WLS patients, you can blend things up nice and smooth, and in smaller portions--- not messing up a huge blendder all the time.

That sucks. What else does that leave? I can't think of any other fruit that isn't harder than a watermelon...maybe peaches?

Yep...it's perfect for that! Another thing I like about it is it's quite small...takes up minimal counter space.

I actually work for a comany that sells them. The offer right now is buy one, get one free, just pay shipping on the second one. It comes out to 139.95. You get the 17 piece set, recipe guide, juicer and blender attachement.

Kat, you could do citrus in it. Or really ripe peaches and pineapple. But no apples or carrots or things like that.
