Default Anyone have Met stop working?

I have been on met since January and while I am pretty sure I haven't been ovulating, it has kept me regualr (cycles 35-37 days). This month I am on day 42 with no AF in sight. Ironically, this is the first month I have been more on top of diet and exercise. Pregnancy test was negative. Anyone experience this? I am on 1500 mg a day.

I have been on 1500mg of Met for 2 years. It has kept me pretty much 29-33 days regular and I lost about 20 pounds when I first started taking it.
But for the last 3-4 months ( they have been mega stressed months though) AF has been at least 2 weeks late and I have had terrible sugar cravings and gained about 14 pounds. I think I need to go back and see my GYN but that's not so easy in the UK. I will have to wait about 3 months to see him!

You have to remember something..your hormones didn't get bungled overnight. They won't get fixed overnight either. It took me almost a year on met to make a significant dent in my hormones enough to get regular periods and really getting committed to diet was a big part of that.

Be patient...it can take 6 months or more of good habits before our bodies get swung right hormonally. Do all you can to help yourself and give your body time to sort itself on the medication.

Good luck!
