Question Anyone have NO milk when trying to BF??

Just new here and wondering.........Have any of you truly had NO milk?? I had DS almost 3 years ago and when he was born I truly got NO milk supply. Finally after 3 weeks of trying EVERYTHING the health nurse finally asked me about PCOS symptoms. I have just been put onto small dosage of Met ( borderline ) So wondering if this is common. 3 years ago this health nurse told me to look into some of my symptoms and that Met before pregnancy can solve milk issues next time. She said there was a connection between PCOS and milk supply. Sorry if I rambled
And I just want to say babydust to all of you TTC!!!!!!!!!

You may want to post this on the Mommy board, you may get more responses that way.

my wife had about 2 oz a day and just bf 2oz a day for two months. it was really devastating but she is staying on met the whole pregnancy and through bf and we are hoping it helps. we didn't find out about the connection between low/no milk supply until after a month. aside from fertility issues, this is probably the worst thing about pcos for us.

I had plenty of milk and was surprised by this since I've heard PCOS can cause problems. I did take metformin for many years before I got pregnant and for the first trimester, so maybe that is why. I've heard it can help with milk after pregnancy too, but I didn't take it for 6 months.
