I've taken Provera (the generic) 2 different times and both times after the 2nd day i had numbness in my right arm down to my fingers and my feet, the second time i had numbness in both my hands and my right leg. The first time I didnt know the Provera caused it but after the second time my MD and i identified it as the cause. I believe it even mentions it as a side effect on the medication print out. My MD told me to stop taking it because she thought I might have a blood clot, but she didnt know and by the next day it was gone.
I haven't, but I do remember my doctor telling me to pay attention to any tingling or numbness for my first round of Provera, because it could be a blood clot. That sounds like what it is. Sorry I can't help with the "what to do now" part!
Thanks pinky! hehe. yea thats what we thought it could be! SCARY!!!! i actually saw my gyn today and i'm starting 7 days of prometrium. which i'm told is a natural supplement of progesterone. I hadn't had AF for 2yrs now so i guess i'm in for a real treat in about 10 days or so!!!!!!

Oh my... all I can say is that you should stock up on midol. In my experience... well, progesterone withdraw bleeding after extended amenorrhea is not fun!
Then again, everyone's different. Maybe your lining won't be as built up as mine was.
I hope it isn't too bad. Good luck!
