Just wondering if anyone else has recurrent blood clots. I had a pulmonary embolism in 2007 and just got out of the hospital on Friday after having a DVT. After the pulmonary embolism, I saw a hematologist and had a lot of blood work to check for clotting disorders and it didn't show that I had any but now I have had a second blood clot. I took coumadin for 9 months but since my labs showed that I didn't have a clotting disorder, I was told I could stop it and just take a 81mg aspirin daily. I have been doing some research and I found a site that talked about hyperhomocysteinemia. I have a couple of the symptoms of it, other than recurrent blood clots. I was just wondering if anyone had this or had any insight as to what I should be tested for to try to figure out why I've had 2 blood clots and I am only 24 years old. I am too young for this, but it is making me feel old!!!

No, I never took Yaz. I did take Yasmin for a couple months and also have taken Seasonale, Lo-Ovral, and Zovia in the past. I was taking Zovia when I had the pulmonary embolism.
