Unhappy Anyone havinig problems with depression and stress?

Earlier this year when I was a junior I missed a month and a half of school at one time. We found out that it was depression with some stress. So i was wondering if others have had any similar problems or the same one.

I was a cutter aswell. We had a thread (not sure if it is still there) for the cutters and those who cutted. Cutting is often linked with depression because I know how it feels to not be in control of your own life and well cutting is the only pain you can control. If you need someone to talk to please don't be shy.

Oh yes, I have been right there too.

My senior year of high school, I missed 48 days of school due to everything I was going through. It was that year I was diagnosed with PCOS and also tons of stomach problems, due mostly to stress and anxiety, I'd imagine. I just had an incredibly difficult year.

I still get stressed from time to time now, but I feel much more in control of my life as far as certain aspects of it goes. I still have bad days, and I am certain I always will, but it is better than it was at one time.

It's pretty common with PCOS due to chemical imbalances
