Default Anyone here been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

If so, what are your symptoms? Feel free to get as detailed as you'd like. I'm very close to getting diagnosed with this, but I'm not so sure its my problem...

I discovered that this condition may be related to a leaky gut - where normal candida albicans (yeast) in our gut is released into our bloodstream where then it attacks organs, etc. It causes fatigue like that.

Ask your doctor for a candida albicans blood test. Also, get your allergies checked.

Hope this helps some!

Anne

Wow Anne, that's interesting. I had never heard that before but makes sense.

Thanks for the input but I'm not a believer in the whole candida albicans epidemic. It seems that every naturopath believes this is the cause for everyone's problems. I've actually been tested for the antibodies twice (at the persistence of my mother) and came back negative.

Good thing yours came out negative. Be glad lol. Mine was positive and I have one more week to go before the detox is over. Mine was 15 so a month is enough to tackle it. If I need more time, then I will do it more depending on the next results.

Hi, I have cfs and my main symptoms apart from the tiredness are constant thudding headaches and dizziness, sore throat, swollen lumps in neck and armpits, and the list goes on...

What about you? Did anything trigger yours?

CFS is a diagnosis of exclusion, which is what I found out when researching my symptoms. I have all of the primary signs, some that are occasional, and some of the secondary. However, I'm also ripe for fibromyalgia.

Here's the Mayo Clinic's page for CFS:
