Anyone on injectable meds get fluid in their fallopian tube? Hi I am 25 yrs old and have been TTC for 2 years. I have been seeing a RE for the last 6 months though I am only on my second IUI cycle with injectables. I have to be on BCP's for a month prior just to be able to start a cycle. I am sensitive to alot of meds so I had to try 3 different BCP's until I found one that my body could tolerate. I am currently taking follistim at 75 IU a day. I have taken 7 shots so far and tonight will be my 8th. I have had 2 HSG's done in the past and both showed my tubes were clear. I went in today and they told me my right fallopian tube had filled up with fluid. She said it could be from the meds or a blockage. Though I was told I had no blockages. My follicles looked great but she said to come back in 3 days to see of the fluid is still there and that we may have to abandon the cycle. Has anyone had this happen to them or know what this fluid may be from??? That is $600 of meds I'm not going to abandon the cycle just because they said they fluid makes the chances low for conceiving. I might as well follow through with this one now what harm could it do besides not work? I am very worried they have found yet another roadblock stopping me from conceiving, like the chronic raging cysts aren't enough! Thanks I'd appreciate it! |
