My mom and I were talking yesterday at the cottage (Beautiful day it was !) about China and how close it really is to going (LOL 9 Months ! hopefully) and about all the wee girls and international adoption itself and we wondered...

What country was the first to let IA happen ?
What country was the first to do an IA ? (I am going to assume USA but then again ?)
Where would I find all these statistics ?

We are very interested and since DS and I have a playdate this morning I will be researching it later but right now we have to go shower (can you say LAZY)

I'd be interested too...I feel like a sponge lately taking in all this info! I won't be able to research until after Tuesday b/c I'm really busy and just popped on for a minute but let me know if you find out!

It will be great for telling our daughters how international adoption started (as well as your son since he's adopted internationally)
