I'm moving out with my boyfriend in the summer so I'm a little scared about it but ill be a few houses down from them so I wont be too far.but I was just wondering how many of you live out of your parent house and how that felt when you first moved out?

Well, I live in dorms for a good portion of the year...
I think it's pretty awesome. Maybe it's because I'm an only child but I find it much preferable to be around mostly people my age, as well as friends and DBF.
The only thing I really miss about home (besides being used to living there) is all my stuff I couldn't bring with me, like some of my plants and my fish, plus not having to pay bills and my parents buying all the food. I ran out of milk this week but I still haven't bought more because my parents are coming up this weekend and I know they'll take me shopping!

I don't live at home anymore & I've been living with DBF for almost a year...I didn't willing leave, I was more less 'asked' to leave by my parents...but honestly, it was a great move for me....it's not that scary, but you just ave to remember that bills have to get paid! haha...partying & havnig fun is secondary to everything else...

I've been out of my parents house for almost 2 years now. For the first summer I was living with my friend and her mom so that doesn't really count, but I absolutely love being independent. The bills definately suck sometimes, but it's worth it. Every once in awhile I get homesick, and because my parents live a couple of hours away I can't just go home whenever I want so that sucks. After finding out about PCOS and whatnot I think I get homesick more than I used to, but I can call my mom pretty much whenever so that helps. Living on my own has its ups and downs, but it's definately worth it. You have no reason to be scared. Especially since you're still close to home you can go back whenever you want. Good luck!
