Just thought I would say hi, CanadaCandy.

I'm from Sarnia (1 hour west of London) but my RE (which is Dr. Martin) is in London.

Hi!!! I just recently moved from Strathroy to London, leaving everyone behind, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but I don't drive, so I feel a bit lonely every now and again!!!
haha

How is Dr. Martin? Do you see him for everything or only ttc?

I know Strathroy. My brother used to live there. Its a nice city.

Dr. Martin has put me on Metformin. I justed started taking 1000 mg on Sunday and me tummy has been off. 500 mg wasn't bad at all. We will start ttc in January.

How about you? Are you currently ttc?

Hi CanadaCandy,

I'm not from London, but my doc is. I am pg right now. My doc is Dr. Maritin. Great doctor. I wonder if you know someone in Strathroy by the name of Karen Page? Just wondered as I know it's a small town.

All the best.
Cathy

No, sorry I don't know her! Its is a small place, which is why living in London is a change! haha
But, its alright!!

I'm not ttc right now, but I am looking for a doctor that will treat my PCOS while I am not ttc.

I saw Dr. Powers here in London, and he got me pregnant, but i haven't heard from himsince, and when I ask my family doctor about things, he doesn't really know.

ugh it can get so frustrating. Maybe I should Call Dr. Martin's office and ask if he takes patients that aren't ttc?

Hey Candice,
Which part of London are you in?We moved about 2 years ago from London to St. Thomas because our kids go to school here. I've lived in London for over 20 years and love it. I do a lot of my shopping there still. My doctor is Catherine Delanie who diagnosed me in 1995 but really herself did not seem overly concerned with the symptoms. She sent me to Dr. Natalie at St. Jos who I had for my kids. He's great but I'm not too sure how is for pcos. He had me on prometrium until I heard about Met about a year ago through this site. Hope you are able to find someone. I know that can be very frustrating! Dr. Delanie is leaving her practice to go into something at the University. Best of Luck. Maybe I'll bang into you somewhere lol! Dodie

I'm in Stratford.
Just moved here from Kitchener-Waterloo in November.
All my doctors are still in K-W so I make the drive in to see them when I have to. It's too hard to find doctors in Ontario these days to start the search all over again.
I've been to a mall in London called Masonville. It's a pretty big place to shop.
I've just beed diagnosed with PCOS and I've gone for testing for isulin resistence and the whole 9 years. I'll get my results back from all the blood work and everything else on Feb 2nd. Then the OB/GYN is going to discuss Clomid.
I've been married since August 1998 and we've been TTC ever since.
Wish me luck!
