Well it's been 2 1/2 weeks now. No more heartburn or diarrhea, although I didn't get it too bad when I did have it. No period or spot bleeding either. I have although broken out pretty badly with pimples on my face, mainly under my chin and forehead. I feel bloated and don't feel as though I'm losng any weight. Amount of body has not yet changed either but other than that everything seems to be meshing well. It has only been a cople weeks so we'll see what the next few have in store.

Ok, its been 4 weeks around. I didn't have any spot bleeding at all. I took my last bcp in the pack 3 days ago and woke up with my period this morning. A lot of cramping today and yesterday but nothing too bad. I feel like I am losing a lot of my water retention and can see my face slimming down. I had a bad outbreak of acne but it has cleared up. I have not lost any more hair on my head but it seems like the body hair hasn't changed at all. I still get a little nauseous once in a while but no vomiting. Mood seems to be a little better. As for weight loss, my front waist area has gone down minutely. My bf says he doesn't see much of a difference but when I visited a cousin I haven't seen in about 2 months she says it looks like I lost weight. I haven't changed my eating habits too much. However, I find certain things to gross me out. Like potatoes don't taste as good as they used to, neither does rice. Other than that, all is good and we'll see in the coming weeks if the body hair reduces.

I have been on Met and Yaz for over a week now, no big side effects...a little weight loss but I think it is because Yaz is a diuretic and I have been peeing a lot!! I am hoping after my first month I will see more weight loss, less acne, less facial hair....

Keep updating us with you!

I've been on BC (Yasmin) for over 8 years now (I know a real long time) so I've long since stopped suffering from the acne and hair issues (thank goodness!). I started taking MET 2 weeks ago because I want to start trying to conceive next year and my doctor said it's best to start getting my body ready for conception from now.

I was really hoping to lose some weight on the MET though but I've seen no difference yet. I don't even feel different really. But maybe I need to give it some more time. It's only been two weeks and I haven't even reached the full dose yet. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'd like to keep checking in on this post to see how you ladies are doing though. So keep us posted!
