i'm halfway into my second month on mircette after a year of not concieving. my doc put me on it as it has the lowest estrogen, and my little sister had breast cancer that was estrogen positive.
i'm considering stopping it after this month's up though, as i'm left with no libido at all, and when we do attempt the deed, it hurts a bit. has anyone else had this problem with mircette? this was not a problem while on met, but we want to put ttc on hold for a little while, as we're planning an overseas move in the next year. any suggestions, comments, or similarities?

I was on Mircette for one cycle... experienced quite a bit of breakthrough bleeding.. this was the only draw back for me.. but it was a pain in the ass... but I have horror stories about how Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo affected me... the worst side effects being that I was sent to an Internist for out of control high blood pressure (which led to headaches throughout the day)... and as soon as I stopped the blood pressure went back to normal and the headaches went bye bye... you have to remember that every bcp affects every person differently... so good luck as you trial and error....

I'm into the second week of my first pack of Mircette - and my sex drive has completely vanished! Not only that, but I've been nauseated, and my breasts are killing me!
I've tried so many different BCP's that I don't know what to do anymore. I'd like to stick with this one, but I hate feeling sick to my stomach all the time. Anyone know of a good way to deal with nausea?
I have the very same problem!! I took Diane 35 for 7 years, was very happy with it and all of a sudden it made me incredible nauseous. Tried Yasmin, same thing. Now I'm giving Mircette a shot, but I haven't been able to take it three days in a row. I hate being sick to my stomack the whole time. Don't know what to do next, how many bcp's that help pcos symptoms are left??
I just started mircette 10 days ago and I have no libido and I've been spotting the whole time. Sounds like I'm completely normal as far as this pill goes!
Does it ever get better? How long do I wait before I switch to something else?

Hi, I am taking mircette and have been for a while now the sex drive thing is a problem for me as well but, I can help with the break through bleeding part mine stopped after a couple of months on this pill and now I have a period that last only one day, so try to hang in there.
anyone on mircette?
