I am pretty sure your doctor meant that you have pcos-like eggs. I am on another board (hannahsprayer.org) and a woman who was having an IVF procedure said the doctor told her this. If you ovulate regularly and you have never seen the multiple follicles (have these been vaginal ultrasounds?) then I doubt you have PCOS.
What is your current dosage of metformin? I would assume if you double your dosage you may get the side effects. You may want to see if you can go up a little slower. I have heard that helps. I am on 2000 (4 pills each evening) and I am now at about 2.5 weeks of taking the drugs and the nausea is gone. So, if you are taking less than that you can use me to see that you shouldn't be nauseous for longer than 2-3 weeks I would assume. Yesterday I could finally eat. Did food just turn you off? This is what happened with me. I couldn't even SMELL it ... I am onthe extended release so I took it 8 p.m. and by about 3 o'clock the next day I would be feeling well enough to eat dinner

Ugh...
Hope to hear back from you,
Wendi
