Question Anyone from North West UK ?

I was wanting to know how many women here are from the North West of United Kingdom ?

I have been back n forth to doctors, specialists regarding treatment on NHS with no such luck, only for a friend of mine to get a tummy tuck on NHS, good on her I thinks, but the crap I have had the past 3 years trying to get something for PCOS,well it gets to me.

Anyways, I have been in touch with many people mainly regarding HAIR and how much I have got in all the wrong places, I just wanted to know if there was anyone else near me.

I feel like I am getting the run around from the NHS regarding Laser Treatment, proving it's not or cosmetic reasons that I wnt it and basically I am prepared to take this battle to the highest level I need to now, whether it be public or not, as I'm not ashamed of me anymore and my hair, because everyone I love knows, and I feel this is the next steps I need to take to get someone up there to recognise this ?

I am in liaison with a pricate laser treatment clinic at the moment to try and get someone to recognise the need for such treatment on the NHS, I jsut wanted to see if anyone was close to me ? I would pay for laser treatment and will probably end up doing, but why should I when other "cosmetic" surgery is available

Hope this makes sense

Hi JodiGirl,

I live in the NW of England. Liverpool to be exact. I was just recently dx with PCOS and to be honest I've found my doctor to be fairly helpful.

Although I don't have to worry about too much hair, I wish you the best of luck with your fight. I hope you achieve what you're after. I completely agree with you and think that if a tummy tuck is allowed on NHS, hair removal should be too.

Keep me posted on your progress. I'd like to know if they agree to it.

Kind regards,

Mary
