Default Anyone with Omega-3 fish oil successes?

I cant afford to do all these supplements, etc. I wish I could. I have read in 3 different books about the benefits of low dosage omega 3 (topshelf stuff) really making a difference for pcos/mood/depression etc.

Supposedly it helps sort of "lubricate" areas in brain and body to assist in neurotransmitters reading the dopamine/seratonin better. Since we also have metabolizing issues, the oils break down with less effort and can travel more successfully than some powder vitamins and minerals.

Has anyone had any success ... or complaints about it?

THANK YOU!

I keep trying and trying to take fish oil but the fact of the matter is it makes me extremely nauseous to the point that it is totally disruptive to my life. I can never stay on it for more than a few days. So I have never experienced the great effects of it.

I have been on it for over a year now. I have noticed a GREAT difference in my mood and general disposition. It took several months before I noticed a change.

I had run out of my oil supplement, and have honestly felt less nimble in my brain. I'm going to blame the oil on that one! I found a borage/flax oil supplement last night that has Omega 3 and 6. I'm going to see if that helps me feel smarter

I take codliver oil (in pill form). So far, I like it, but I haven't seen dramatic effects. I'm not sure if I should be looking for dramatic effects from suppliments? I always forget that I am taking this, so I don't know if I can say that it's making my brain more nimble! It's hard to know which to choose.

I just started taking them on Friday, so far so good! I'll try and update after a bit longer.

I have just started taking an omega 3-6-9 pill daily over the weekend. So far my skin is looking great and I feel pretty good. (Granted, I have also been trying other things to improve my skin).

I recommend it It's good for the heart and the brain.
