 Anyone order their BCP's from Canada (with an Rx)...
I'm not trying to get anything I don't (or won't) have a prescription for...I ask because I'm tired of paying out the ass for my BCPs.
My current Rx is for OrthoCyclen, which if it has a generic, just recently got one. Last time I looked around there was no generic for it. In the meantime, my f'ing insurance (BCBS) has gone from covering OrthoCyclen as a $10 copay to covering it as a tier 3 $50 copay...which means since it only costs $35 a month (Eckerds) I just pay for it myself. However, in checking out a couple of Canadian pharmacies, it is HALF the price! With only $10 shipping. So 3 months at a time = $105 in US OR $58 in Canada ($48 plus $10 shipping).
At those rates, I'm all ready to do it. I'm making appointments for my annual exams now (my endocrinologist appt is March, have to set my gyn exam still) and will ask about a generic BCP, but I want to look into this Canada thing in the meantime. Anybody done it before?
