 Anyone on the patch?
For about 3-4 years, I was on the Ortho Evra patch. LOVED IT. Ok, sure, it gave me the tiniest bit of skin irritation, but it was so nice to not have to take the flippin' pills. Then, this past year, because of insurance and a new gyn, I was put on the generic form of Yasmin. Not my favorite, but hey.
My new gyn actually told me she didn't like the OE patch because it gave "too much" hormone. My former gyn left me on it because she said it gave a more consistent amount of hormone. My periods were not as light on the patch, and it wasn't bad at all.
What experiences is everyone else having with it? Docs saying the same thing? I'm going to be imploring my doc this year to put me back on it, insurance be damned. If you're on the TogetherRx program, it's discounted, so hey, why not!?!
