Default anyone with scalp folliculitus or "acne necrotica miliaris"?

I had a Derm appointment today and she told me that is what the little sores are that hurt in my head..and could be why my hair is falling out in those areas. My overall scalp is burning/itchy, she gave me a topical antibacterial cream to use and told me to keep using Nizoral..I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this at all and if it went away. Now that I think back, I have this every now and then, usually it starts up when I break out on my face around my AF..but moreso nowadays. It isnt like you can put certain topical gels on it since its in your scalp and will make your hair too dry, too oily or change color..Its really annoying and where my hair is thin up top you can see the sores

Is that like having acne on your scalp? I get that but I have no idea what to do about it.

This seems to be a really, really common scenario for a lot of women who are going through hairloss. Many women report they have a bout with this before they go through a major batch of shedding. I don't know if anyone's ever explained why.
