Anyone on sodium oxybate or ambien? (sleep) After I went to the sleep lab and ruled out problematic sleep apnea, the doctor told me I have "alpha intrusion" waves into sleep that could be ruining my sleep (causing brain fog, fatigue, etc). He prescribed ambien, and I've tried it a few weeks off and on, but wondered if anyone has been on it long-term. It seems to help marginally but I have so many other factors involved it's hard to tell. I've also done research and found that sodium oxybate has also been shown to reduce alpha-waves in the deep sleep. Are any other cysters on either of these meds? BTW I am not a druggie but sodium oxybate is also known as GHB and some people take it for narcolepsy.
