I'm in Guelph. I see a great Gyne in Hamilton named Dr Stopps. I would definitely recommend him. He is always behind schedule and often hard to get on the phone but he knows his stuff. He is very nice and understanding and usually willing to talk things through with you and go over various options. Good luck.

"I've tripped again and things are starting to get interesting..."
Quote of the day: "When my eyes get all glazed and my head starts bobbing, don't try to listen for the music. There is no music. There is just me. I'm dreaming."
Hey Ladies,
Im near Guelph!
We are done having our kids now, thankfully! However I can COMPLETELY sympathize with TTC and PCOS... now I am dealing with my body trying to find a "normal" state and Im finding I have to do a lot of lifestyle changes - the biggest - eating! Id love to chat with you ladies, I dont know ANYONE in real life with this, there are days I feel lonely and "weird" lol because of it!
I was lucky enough to find a RE in Harriston, which is very close to me, if I hadn't found him I would have had to go to London - 2.5hrs from me. However he closed his practice in Dec 2005 ... the month we got pregnant with DS after 16mths!!! His name is Dr Tyson - an amazing man!!!
pzsept06...my sister is seeing someone in owen sound but she lives closer to southampton area. i know, whenever i try to talk to people about this it seems they just don't "get" it. That's why I'm happy I found this site!
I hear ya about the lifestyle changes - how is it going for you??
Drop me a line anytime - I would love to chat!!
Hey kernal, I dont know how to send messages on here, I hope you see this. Yes thats exactly how I feel people just dont get it! LIke I was saying to my hubby it is a complete lifestyle change that you have to do or you feel horrible. Id love to chat, I dont know anyone IRL with this and yup thats what has me so frustrated and very alone feeling. Sad to say I know.
Hello Ladies I am new to the boards, I was living in London, I am now in St. Marys. I have been to SOFT. I have only great things to say abput the staff. I found the process very emotional and I was unsuccessful at becoming pregnant, however we were truly blessed to be able to adopt 2 beautiful boys over the last 5 yrs. Through London CAS.
I now see Dr. Rebel again, to treat my PCOS. I really want to loose some weight and then I plan on going back to see Dr. Martin.
Its nice to see how many people are from the area!
Hey stmarysgirl, welcome to the boards. I grew up in St. Marys, great little town. I am in London now and working in St. Marys and hoping to move back there in the next couple of years. Again welcome to the boards....

hey there! i'm from london too! seem to be quite a few people on here from the area. Thats fun. I read someone's reply that it was pretty clique-y. I'd have to agree... i can't wait to move somewhere bigger... it its a pretty okay town.

Bigger than London? bahh!!
I'm in Chatham and hate going to london, but am a patient at SOFT. London is crazy to me, hectic drivers and just too big.
I'm a small city girl ;-)
