None that I know of at least! I've never heard of anyone talk of any RE Clinics in Windsor, and the doctors here always refer to London for that, so I'd assume no. *shrugs* It wasn't a bad drive down, I just hate driving in London. People are crazy drivers there. lol :-P

On a TTC Break after 3.5 years
Hubby has hyperthyroidism, with T4 at 85 (normal 22) and T3 at 35 (normal 6.5)
July 2009 - Radio Active Iodine - Failed. Did not kill off enough thyroid.
Saf - I read what the SOFT clinic is having you do on another thread .. I am doing the exactly same treatment .. lol
I am on 10 days of BCP (because of my heavy AF for 40+ days) .. then I go off BCP and once AF comes I'll start Clomid on cd3 and do IUI ... YAY!!

I have an appointment at the Women's health place on Dundas on Monday. I have been having a lot of problems with my cycle lately and think its time to get back on some meds. Does the Women's health center deal with pcos or do they just give referrals?
Thanks,
Mel
P.S. So is everyone enjoying the snow

i would suggest maybe if the clinc on dundas can't help try doctor martin at the SOFT clinc. he's really good and will let you know what exactly you can do that is covered under ohip, and what isnt..
he's really good with my husband and i. my husband just loves him, and my husband isnt one to like doctors! you do need a referral for dr martin as he doesnt just accept people calling in on their own. If you call his clinc to get more info they could let you know how you could go about getting a referral and who you could talk to...
did you just move to london? i live in london.. we just ventured down to chatham to help my mother in law move today -- snows not half as bad down in chatham. *sending good vibes and lots and lots of baby dust your way. *

womens health clinic is wonderful, mostly all women work there. So your getting a womens opinion. Also if you get a good dr, she should recognize pcos and should be able to prescribe some meds. but if you miss your appointment, they want 40. so dont miss it.

Canadiangirl- Where did you live before you moved to London?
I am originally from Thunder Bay (Ont)
Salmajz- I am looking forward to my appointment. Hoping to back on some meds soon.
So what does everyone do in their spare time?
I volunteer for a group called ARF. We raise foster puppies until they are ready to go up for adoption.
Is anyone on facebook? Email me if you are at flyingmallard74@hotmail.com and you can see some of the cute dogs that I have fostered

canadiangirlttc - Do you enjoy living in London? What sort of things do you like to do in your spare time?
I had my appointment at the women's health center. I had to wait two hours. The doctor wants to do the blood work and ultrasound before deciding what meds I should try.
