I take Chromium GTF and kelp.
I definately noticed a difference (in the UK we are often iodine deficient, hence the kelp)
As a side note when I was following Atkins induction and using ketostix I experimented and found if I didn't use chromium I couldn't get into ketosis unless I went as low as 15g of carbs per day and with chromium sometimes I was touching ketosis on 40g.
In my opinion I think it works! and I've never had any side effects.
